General Description - Assists students to adjust successfully to the elementary school environment; helps parents to join effectively with the school personnel toward the student's successful participation in the school; and supports the staff and administration in promoting a positive school climate.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have or be eligible for Virginia licensure in School Counseling
- Successful teaching and/or counseling experience with at least 3 years experience preferred
- Demonstrates the professional and personal characteristics for working effectively with students, parents, school personnel and community agencies
This is a 10-month 200 day position.
Salary credit will be given for previous teaching or counseling experience in a public or accredited private school.
24-25 Salary: $50,500-$95,672 + 7% for Master's Degree

+ 7% for master's degree (not included in base salary)
